At Trampy Vamps the 6th of the month
"Growl and roar-it's okay to let the beast out."
A LITTLE ABOUT ME:

Currently, I live in Southeastern Pennsylvania but my dream is to return to the high desert of California. I share space with four furfriends (cats) and enjoy spending time with my sisters and girlfriends. My passion is reading romance novels, especially those with vamps and happy endings.

A multi—published author, I am a RWA PAN member who also belongs to its Passionate Ink and ESPAN chapters and I'm a member of Liberty States Fiction Writers. When not writing, I can be found snuggled in front of the TV with a good book, a cat in my lap and a cup of coffee.

I love to hear from fans and I answer ALL emails. Click E-MAIL ME above, I'd love to hear from you.

ABOUT THE KIND:

I've written quite a few books on the Kind. In particular the Sovereign Kind, the warriors of the Kind also known as the Reign. They're big cats infected with the vampyre's blood curse. The premise is that in prehistoric days, vamps warred among themselves and some hid out in caves in the Balkan mountains and fed on the resident lions. They didn't kill them because without their blood supply, the vampyres would have ceased to exist. Some how (it involves a prophet whose story is to come as a prequel--you know "in the beginning" and all that) they became infected and gained the ability to change into vampyres if they take human blood. The lions traveled far and wide infecting other cats and animals. Yes, there will be wolves. Now, the Kind are everywhere.

There's a whole faction of the Kind who refuse to embrace their vampyre half and they live hidden on compounds, trying to remain what they think they should be--animals. Guided by a group of elders, there are those, mostly warriors, who are allowed to take human sustenance to be stronger and better able to protect their people. Eventually, some of the Reign move away from the compounds. They come to like their blood thirsty half and even live among their Balkan "cousins" learning and using their magic.

This hasn't been easy. Their animal half is hated by the pure vamps because it gives the Kind the ability to walk in sunlight undamaged. They are disliked and untrusted by the compound cats because they live like vampyres. From taking human blood, some Kind become deceased and bloodthirsty, hence they even have their own lethal rogues called transgressors.

Visit their world, feel the erotic bite of a big cat.
